Fort Kochi is situated at the coast of Kochi having a distance from the railway station of around 12.7 km and from the airport, it is around 42 km. Most tourists plan to stay in this part of the city as they want to observe the old mixed culture of India, Dutch, and Portuguese. The place is having many churches and each of them have its own importance
Fort Kochi is not all about the church you will get some awesome beach breeze and sand play at fort Kochi beach. It is also famous because the famous Chinese finishing nets situated at the place It is the hotspot of the area so you will find a good crowd there especially on weekends as people come to chill out on the sand while watching enormously large ships crossing by
The Chinese finishing nets are stationary lift tied with nets and used for fishing in the sea the morning glaze through these nets helps you to make your day shine good, these nets are called after the origin of their design which is believed to be done by Zheng he a Chinese explorer

If you want to roam along a beach having No ends then you should head towards the Alleppey beach which is all the way long along the coast of the Alleppey which takes the beauty of the place to another level. It is the perfect spot to spend your evening while watching the sunset on the western ghats
If you are planning to go Alleppey by self-drive then I prefer to take the old State highway which goes all the way alongside the coastal line, you will see various small villages and beaches, and beach football grounds are all the fun you don't wanna miss.
MUNNAR
Munnar counts in one of the most beautiful hill stations of India and a large number of tourists come and see its beauty and tea valley. Munnar is 126 km away from Kochi airport and it usually takes around 4 hours of journey among the mountains. to reach the beautiful valley of Munnar district. The place is famous for its farming along the slopes of the hills and
Tourist spots in Munnar have been divided among various directions i.e mattupatty direction, Thekedy direction, and Coimbatore direction and every direction is having at least 4-5 spots to cover including hilltop views and tea valley. Lockheart tea park and museum located in Thekkady direction is must watch and the spice plantation in the adimally direction is some of the important destinations

Vypin Island
Vypin is situated in front of fort Kochi making it visible from fort Kochi beach but if you wanna go there then you have to take a ride through ferry to reach there as it is the only convenient mode of transportation to the island. Vypin island is not a very big island but only a small frontier island of the Kochi which gives you an enormous view of the great Arabian sea and its deep water. You would like to spend your evening while sitting at a beach resort and having a drink over the sunset.
Cherai Beach
Cherai beach is the famous beach of Vypin island situated in the northern part of the island this beach is perfect for you to have some sunbath and beach fun with your buddies. As there is not much crowd on the island so you will find peace on the beach and easy mode of communication around the island
